A note on the url structure
If you have noticed the url pattern, it may not make sense at first glance, so here is a quick explanation.
I, like most Hindus/Tamizhans of this generation do not fully understand the Sanskrit/Tamizh calenders. I have done my research, but compared to the Western calender it's very complicated with a lot of moving parts. There is the sun, the moon - its phases primarily, the stars, the nakshatra - which is more like the background pattern of stars and the relation of the position of the sun and the moon to it and so on and so forth.
To help my own understanding, I felt it was best to actively use it wherever possible. Which is not a lot of places.
The first number in the url after `blog/` refers to the current year with the Kali Yuga as the baseline. For example, this year, 2020, is basically 5122 KY. There are a bunch of schemes, called `samvats`, but I don't fully understand them, the differences. Kali Yuga, is however, way more universal for all followers of Sanatana Dharma.
Note: From what I understand, Kali Yuga starts, ie 0 KY begins, basically the moment Lord Krishna leaves Bhu physically. It may also be just the year, not the actual moment, not sure.
The second part of the url is the Tamizh month. This is a solar month, it does not correspond to the phases of the moon directly.
Now, the logical next step is the date on each blog post. I may look into this in the future; at this point I depend on Org mode scheduling to manage the date and since I don't want to manually add the Tamizh dates to the post, which means I need a way to reliably map from the Gregorian calender to the Tamizh calender. This needs more research, so not happening right away.
