Hello world!

New blog, that is the latest in a long line of now terminated blogging attempts. With this one, I am hoping to stick around on the scene.

Let's see how it goes!!!

1. What changed?

Over the years, I have either maintained blogs poorly or simply abandoned them. What's the new policy? Why should this attempt be any better?

Well, the fundamental change this time around to have a single blog with all my various interests in one place, a continuous stream even, instead of worrying about compartmentalizing my pursuits.

So, prepare to find posts on software mixed with book reviews, character logs of roguelikes with examination of Vedanta scriptures, short posts that are just links to long paper reviews.

I am going to completely wash my hands, here and now, of any semblance of concern towards maintaining consistancy in terms of quality, length or purpose.

2. What's the setup?

I have used a bunch of different things before, on different platforms. These previous failings have taught me well, this new platform is entirely simple and centralized. More in a separate post. Here is a teaser: it's all orgmode.

This setup auto generates indices to the post based on tags. Hopefully this is enough to untangle my single sequence of posts by topic.
